Inheriting the Red Gene to Contribute, Strengthening Integrity to Stay True to the Original Aspiration — A Record of the Joint Party Building Activity between the Mangxu Technology Party Branch and the Security Management Section Party Branch of the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower Management Center
Background and Significance of the Activity
On the afternoon of November 8, 2023, in order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, devote themselves to the new great project of Party building with firm beliefs and practical measures, promote the formation of combat effectiveness at the grassroots level, and temper the special qualities of Party members to contribute to the great cause of national rejuvenation from a spiritual perspective, the Mangxu Technology Party Branch and the Security Management Section Party Branch of the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower Management Center jointly carried out a themed Party Day joint building activity.
This activity took place during the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era across the entire Party, aiming to strengthen Party members' ideals and beliefs through red education, build a solid ideological defense line against corruption and degeneration, and promote the deep integration of Party building work with career development.
Content and Process of the Activity
During the activity, all Party members, with reverence, paid tribute to the People's Heroes Monument inscribed by Chairman Mao Zedong himself, and held a solemn collective oath-taking ceremony in front of the monument. Subsequently, the Party members visited the Integrity Education Hall and received a profound lesson in integrity through vivid displays of the deeds of their predecessors. Finally, the two branches held an in-depth exchange seminar, engaging in a lively discussion around the theme of the activity.
Outcomes and Reflections of the Activity
Paying tribute to the Heroes Monument and taking a collective oath with reverence was a baptism of the soul; visiting the Integrity Memorial Hall and learning about the deeds of predecessors was a shock to the heart; and the in-depth discussion on the theme of the activity was an elevation of thought.
The red gene is passed down from generation to generation, carried forward and expanded; the spirit of sacrifice during the construction period is about building the Party for the public and dedicating oneself to the country, fulfilling the responsibilities of the times and achieving a life without regrets in the struggle for great ideals.
Preventing corruption and resisting degeneration is the bottom line for maintaining the original aspiration and political integrity, and it is the prerequisite for the security of the Party, the strength of the nation, and the prosperity of the people. Solving this issue is the main thread of the themed education work, which was the consensus reached by the two branches during the joint building activity.

Professor Wu Tong, Mangxu's Vice President in charge of Party building and Executive President; Zhang Ming, Secretary of the Party Branch and Director of the Human Resources and Administration Department; Cheng Yi, Deputy General Manager of the Government Affairs Center and Director of the Civil-Military Integration Department; and Zhou Hongben, Secretary of the Party Branch and Section Chief of the Security Management Section of the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower Management Center, along with other Party members from both branches, participated in the full-day themed activity.
The two sides agreed to maintain close contact after the activity, gradually deepen cooperation in Party building and career development, and jointly explore new paths for Party building to lead business development.
